When there is a 'P' followed directly by an 'S', that 'P' is usually silent.
ie, Pselmos as "sell-moe-s" or Pselunna as "sell-oo-nuh"

The combination of the letters 'AE' always makes the soft "eh" sound.
ie, Faenra as "fen-ruh" or Finnaeford as "finn-eh-furd"
